My August 2010 online earnings disclosed
Tony and I work from home offering freelance services. We make money from our computers or make money online in a variety of different ways, that very often don’t cost us more than just our Internet connection fees. Our two main sources of income: One: from the over 20 different freelance services we offer like web design, WordPress blog hosting and customization, and writing. Two: from freelance work we do for International clients via an online job site called oDesk However, those are not the two methods of making money from home I’m really discussing here. I’m discussing the third method we use here (or at least telling you my earnings – as I do already discuss the methods on various different pages of our sites), which is … Read entire article »

Adsense Revenue Sharing sites: Xomba, HubPages, and Triond
Xomba, Hubpages, and Triond are just three of many Adsense Revenue sharing sites on the Internet. What is an Adsense Revenue Sharing site? An Adsense revenue sharing site is a site where you have articles you’ve written published, and the owners of the site share the revenue they earn from Google Adsense adverts (displayed within or next to your articles) with you. Often, these sites (and articles on them) receive quite a bit more traffic than most “stand alone” blogs. When thinking of earning some extra income from freelance writing, what is the main difference (in my opinion) between writing for an employer on a freelance site like oDesk and writing articles for your own blog or an ad revenue sharing site? Writing an article for a freelance site employer may sometimes pay you quite … Read entire article »
What’s nice about Triond?
Triond is an Adsense revenue sharing site, that also shares it’s revenue earned from other ads on the pages of a variety of niche sites displaying YOUR articles. What’s nice about Triond? (besides the above) There are at least 18 different sites that the Triond articles appear on, and these are mostly niche sites, giving your articles a greater chance at being found by people searching for those kind of topics on the Internet. One can write on just about any topic, and the articles are generally quite easily accepted first time round. All 7 of mine, so far, were. I submitted 7 articles to Triond in a period of three days – An 8th was not quite declined, but I was asked to do revisions. I was quite happy with the article … Read entire article »
How long before Google Adsense ads appear on Triond?
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE YOUR APPROVED AND ACTIVE GOOGLE ADSENSE INTEGRATION INTO TRIOND ALLOWS YOUR ADSENSE ADS TO ACTUALLY APPEAR NEXT TO YOUR ARTICLES ON THE TRIOND SITES? I joined Triond 4 or 5 days ago, and am enjoying it at Triond. It is an advert revenue sharing site, like Xomba and HubPages, where revenue shared from ads clicked on next to articles you write is shared between Triond and you, the article writer. Triond is by no means a get rich overnight program, but more of a site where you can enjoy interacting with other people who enjoy writing, but at the same time you can earn a little from your efforts. You can visit Triond (or some of their niche sites – find the list on Triond) to … Read entire article »
Just how determined are you to make money online or from home?
The article that was written about us that appeared in the Go! local free weekly had quite a few errors (that probably only we were aware of) including the wrong link to our website address. Our main web address is 1pic4twenty.co.za The whole aim of the article was meant to be that it’s possible for anyone to make an income online (if they have Internet access) if they are only determined enough to try hard, and work hard, and LEARN LEARN LEARN. There’s a ton of information to learn from, all over the Internet, for free. We do also have loads of work from home IDEAS on our sites, to get people thinking about what they can do OFFline, if that’s what they’d prefer. Start here Ideas and here Work at home jobs There isn’t anything we can … Read entire article »
Make money writing short articles on an Adsense revenue sharing site
Come on South Africans – and, actually, just about anyone else from anywhere else – if you have a computer at home, and are connected to the Internet, you can make some money at home, in your spare time, or even fulltime if you work hard enough at it. It’s not that difficult – time-consuming perhaps, and may take a while before you earn a fairly decent income online, from writing, but you can if you want to. It is not even essential that you get your own website or blog to write articles and earn from clicks on your Google Adsense ads that would be displayed on the pages of your blogs or websites – you can join a site, for free, that shares it’s Google Adsense revenue, like Xomba … Read entire article »
We South Africans earned R500 from Google Adsense last month
And the month before we earned about R250, so the speed of growth and improvement in income is looking promising! NEWSFLASH! (July 2010). I have received my third Google Adsense cheque in the mail – here’s a photo of me holding it. Also see our post on our TnT Blog We received our first ever Google adsense cheque (check?) in the post today! Where we discuss how it took about a year to earn our first R1000, but now it’s improving. We’re very happy with having earned R500 in just one month from Google Adsense. Yes, there are a few South Africans (and people outside of South Africa too, obviously) earning much more from Google Adsense than a mere R500 per month, but we see now that our income from it is … Read entire article »

Write ten short articles a day to earn over R10 000 per month in 3 years time
August 30th, 2010 | Add a Comment
Okay this is based on the fact that I currently have about 300 web or blog pages and am earning about R300 per month from Google Adsense. I cannot guarantee that 10 articles a day will earn you over R10 000 per month in 3 years time, but, it doesn’t seem impossible either. If you’re keen to earn over R10 000 (that’s about $1 362) per month from home within the next three years, and are prepared to try write 10 articles a day, of say 300 words each, hear me out! It’s what I’m aiming at anyway. My oldest website is already 2 years old, so why am I not yet earning R7200 per month from Google Adsense through my article writing efforts? Simple: I haven’t … Read entire article »
