recipes
Many of the recipes on this blog (see list of recipes below) are/will be recipes I obtained from an old handwritten book of old recipes that belongs to my mother. Some of the recipes are pretty old, passed down from my mother’s mother’s mother. Some of the recipes are in Afrikaans, but I will sometimes translate them into English too.
Use a Weight to Volume Cooking Converter or common cooking conversions to help you work out the amounts for the ingredients needed for some of the recipes.
Hopefully you can use some of the recipes to cook up or bake up a storm in the kitchen, and then profit from what you make, by selling the foods, sauces or drinks, at a fleamarket or anywhere else.
