Just how determined are you to make money online or from home?

The article that was written about us that appeared in the Go! local free weekly had quite a few errors (that
probably only we were aware of) including the wrong link to our
website address.
Our main web address is 1pic4twenty.co.za

The whole aim of the article was meant to be that it’s possible for
anyone to make an income online (if they have Internet access) if they
are only determined enough to try hard, and work hard, and LEARN LEARN LEARN. There’s a ton of information to learn from, all over the
Internet, for free.

We do also have loads of work from home IDEAS on our sites, to get
people thinking about what they can do OFFline, if that’s what they’d
prefer. Start here Ideas and here

There isn’t anything we can tell you on the phone or in person that
isn’t already on our sites.

Now, regards making money on the Internet, how serious are you? I
think that may actually sound rude, and I don’t mean it that way at
all, but it’s important that one has to be completely committed to it,
and have a lot of patience and realise it may take a year or so before
you see much of a reward for your efforts.

You cannot learn how to make money at home or online from talking to somebody for just 20 minutes inperson or on the phone. You have to spend a lot of time reading (free) stuff on the Internet.

There’s a lot for you to learn about making money on the Internet, but
if you are determined you can do it. Even though Tony and I have
learnt stacks (all for free from browsing the Internet and just
practicing) it took ages, and we learnt more and more along the way,
and we still learn something new every day. The aim of our sites and
blogs is to help people learn in a shorter amount of time.

Regards USING the Internet to make money (and not just referring to it
for work from home ideas that don’t need the Internet, or joining a
freelance site to offer your services like data capture, web research,
or writing or design skills to the world) It’s a TON of writing
articles and then a TON of promoting them (the articles), or promoting your sites and blogs.
BUT those who are determined can succeed.

We’re pretty broke right now, and it’s hard work promoting our
business (web design, writing, photography, photo editing etc) as well
as still finding the time to write tons of articles for our sites.

Once you have a blog, and it’s South African, join myScoop – it’s
encouraging to see how one’s blog ranks against other South African
blogs, and keeps one writing to try and improve your rank. I log onto
myScoop at least 3 or 4 times a day to check my rankings there. I have
7 blogs listed there – see at this page
then click any of the titles of my
blogs to go to a page to see the latest articles on those blogs, and
scroll down and see on the right hand side my myScoop stats or ratings
for that blog.

I’m glad I have 7 blogs, but regards trying my utmost to get into the
top 20 on myScoop, I should have perhaps had only one, as then all the articles I write could have gone on just that one, and it would be
rising in the rankings more quickly.

In the meantime, PLEASE take the time to read through the following
articles on our blogs and sites – there’s a lot there to get you
started and learning more. We’ve tried to help quite a few people, but
pretty much all of them just don’t seem to have the determination to
learn, and not give up. Read through the articles that we link to right at the end of this blog post too.

Using totally free Blogger as a way to earn an income

(until you totally get the hang of everything on the Internet, I
suggest you start with a free Blogger blog (read about it in the
article above) – you WILL, however, have to spend a lot of time
promoting it etc, although all sites need promoting anyway, so you can
at least get used to it, using a free blog.)

If wanting to use Google Adsense ads on your blog do not get a free WordPress blog, as they are not yet allowing Google
Adsense on it. A self-hosted WordPress blog (or with a hosting company) does allow Google Adsense ads on it though, just like most other sites allow. If you go this route, then please see our blog post ABSOLUTE beginner struggling to make sense of free WordPress lessons?

One important thing to remember about Google Adsense is never to click your own ads or ask anyone to click your ads. Google is smart, savvy, and will ban your Google Account.

ps, we’ve already sent an email similar to this blog post to a few people who have enquired about learning how to make money online, or from home, and had no thanks, reply, or further queries from most of them – those people will not make it, they are not determined enough to learn.
