Blogger is great and I enjoy reading your posts there, Terry. I think in some ways there is merit in not having a slick website sometimes - as it shows that you are an ordinary person blogging rather than some big company, which suits some blogs.

There are some things on Blogger that can annoy me. I can find the Amazon ads difficult to place on the page in Blogger, which frustrates me sometimes, although it probably wouldn't be so much of a problem if my html skills were better.

I am trying to spend more time with my Wordpress sites at the moment, which is partly why I am writing this under my Coupons and Couponing site name!

@ Mona - thank you for your comment and we hope all our readers take good note of your comment. The points you have made are very good points indeed, and we did not mean that if anybody needs extra income to go out and start breeding dogs to earn that extra income. The plan was that IF PEOPLE LOVE DOGS, to consider breeding them for extra income. We see that we should perhaps add extra points to the article a bit or further highlight the points about being sure not to consider breeding dogs if you do not love dogs. Your points are very valid, and we hope to rewrite the article really soon, to better show what we actually meant: that people could consider breeding dogs for a bit of extra income, if they love and enjoy dogs, rather than when their dogs have puppies, drop them at the side of the road.

Extra income should be the last reason to breed dogs. I am shocked and disgusted that such a post is even on this website. Breeding for money ("Cute puppies for sale!...."great addition to the family" with no other information provided about the breed) is the reason why the animal shelters are full of unwanted dogs. Those breeders mostly focus on the money and do not inform potential owners about what it entails to keep the particular breed of dog they are getting. Often no thought is put into the pedigrees or lines that are being bred, resulting in a "weaker" specimen of the species. A whelping bitch needs special nutrition in order to feed her puppies, in the time leading up to mating, up until well after her pups are weaned, to get her back into good condition. The pups have to be vaccinated and microchipped and the list goes on and on. Why do you think that responsible, registered breeders charge so much for the pups? Not for profit. Breeding should be done only after very careful consideration of the impact that that litter of puppies will have on the world has been done. Which homes will you place them in? Will you take them back if the new owners can no longer take care of them? How will you contribute to the improvement and future existence of the breed? THINK before you BREED

Hi Terry and Tony,

I have a new revenue sharing site myself. Strangely enough though, it doesn't use Adsense. So why am I making a comment on a post called Adsense Revenue Sharing sites? Because I make more money with my Amazon.com affiliation. I have heavily integrated Amazon into my site. I know this may not be for everyone, but you should stop by and take a look at it and tell me what you think: http://publishersvault.com

Hi gkbria, and thanks for the comment. If you're new to blog writing, a big adventure awaits you, and it can be a lot of fun. It's also a lot of hard work, and lots of time reading and learning (all for free on the Internet though!)

What some people do who struggle to get an Adsense account approved because the URL (website address) they use when they sign up for a Google Adsense account is not getting much traffic (visitors) - We think you need at least 50 a day - what these people do is sign up for a Google Adsense account using their profile URL of a writing site they've joined, like Xomba. Perhaps a good idea is to first write a few articles for the site, even if it's just 3 or 4, then follow any instructions on the writing site on how to sign up for Google Adsense using your profile URL on the writing site as the URL you submit when you sign up for Adsense.

Google Adsense seems to sometimes approve Google Adsense account applications more easily if the URL you submit when you sign up is for a busy site that is already getting lots of traffic. Once you have an account, and your Adsense publisher ID, you can start adding ads to your own sites too.

But remember that not everyone visiting a site clicks on ads, and if you have hardly any visitors in the first place, you need to work at improving traffic to your site. Write a lot, link to your web or blog pages from other sites, bookmarking sites, and social networking sites. Do some keyword research using the Google Adwords Keyword tool.

Your English, spelling and grammar needs to be fairly good for writing sites to allow your articles to be published on their sites. If your English is not too hot, use microsoft word when you write your articles, so that it can check grammar and spelling for you, correct wherever there are errors, then copy and paste your articles into the writing site where you submit them on the writing site.

Adsense is not the only way you can earn money on some writing sites. Some sites also share their ad revenue just from page views of your articles, and pay you when you've earned a certain amount of money, via your PayPal account. Sites like Wikinut, Helium, and Triond.

RedGage, too, you don't need an Adsense account to earn money on their site. They pay differently.

Good luck with your writing and blogging adventures!

I am new to blog writing. This article looks helpful for me for going on. Thanks for the details. But still I did not receive adsence approval. So waiting for this before starting with xomba. But I am not finding how to shorten googles appvl. Because they are taking too long time.
