Admittedly, our blog is still brand new, and we didn’t browse through too many blog directories last night, but what we did notice, is that in most cases, to be able to submit to a blog directory for free, that besides a reciprocal link being required, we must place our blog link into a category.

Needless to say, it was late at night, and needing to catch up on our beauty sleep, and also not seeing an obvious category choice to submit our blog link to, we didn’t submit our link to any blog directory last night. 

We will do some more Internet surfing soon, but are curious about knowing what to do about the category choices.  Our blog is not a niche blog as covers a variety of topics.  We are interested in many different topics and don’t really want to cover just one and all it’s variables or sub categories.  We also don’t want to create extra blogs just to cover the various categories of interests we have – that would be so many!

I guess we simply hope to find many blog submission directories that have categories covering topics such as variety, general, or even business or social, but sometimes these blog directory websites warn that if the link submission is in the wrong category, it will be removed…
