School and Stuff » free images » Free educational image to print into a poster
I created this image that is free to copy and paste and print out into a poster about 40cm x 60cm (A2) as a reminder of when I used to prop my eldest son Basti on my hip, when he was just a few months old, and stand in front of an educational poster on the wall. The poster had the numbers one to ten on it, and I would hold his hand in mine and help him tap each number – we tapped the number 4 four times, and the number 5 five times etc, and I would count aloud as we tapped.
I would also take his hand and let a finger of his trace the shape of the numbers, while I would repeat that number over and over again. He’s in grade 7 now, and generally gets above 80% for maths tests and maths exams. I’m hoping that what I did with him and that educational poster helped somewhat, even though it was just a part of all the lessons I gave the poor little chap
Actually Basti was easy to teach as he was just so interested in learning. His younger brother Zooty (now grade 6) was not as keen to learn and I did not push lessons onto him, but snuck them in wherever I could, in a variety of different ways, and Zooty is doing well enough at school.
Hopefully you can save this image of the 5 numbers below, print it out and stick it on a wall in your home, and also teach your baby or toddler in the same way I did.
Please do not make copies of the free image to resell.
If wanting to use it on a website you own (NOT a free images site), that’s fine, but then please link the image to this page. Thank you.
