If your South African educational product or service (or is related to school, learning, or parenting) is in East London, South Africa, East Londoner’s can also advertise for free on our East London in SA site.

Also, if the educational or parenting-related South African product or service is fairly unique and preferably handmade, you may consider free advertising on our Online Flea Market site too.

This School and Stuff blog is part of our main website (main website current page rank 4) and you can advertise here at no cost!

How does this sound?
An entire page (blog post) to yourself, where you can inform visitors about your South African products, services, or information related to school, teaching, education, extra or further studies, kids, babies, or parenting! (preferably related to education, or improving parenting and teaching skills.)

You can also include a maximum of two images, in jpg format, eg your logo and a photograph, or two photographs.

We will:

Upload a blog post (your own page), using the content you send us

We will write a creative title for you (but still include your own title just above your text)

After the title we create for you, we will write a 1 to 4 line introduction or summary for you, usually choosing careful keywords to make the text optimised for Search Engines.

After that, come your contact details, or we may add them at the bottom, or even in both places, or in what we think is an appropriate spot:
All 6 of these are allowed, but not more than one of each:

Website link
Email address
Phone number
Cell number
Fax number
Physical address or location (be sure to at least include the suburb or town you’re in, in case this helps potential clients or customers want to contact you)

Followed by your one or two jpeg images/photos, (or no images), or inserted lower, between certain paragraphs.

Followed by YOUR title and text

We will put the page in a category, or may start a new category for you if there isn’t yet one that suits your product or service or information – if we think your topic suits more than one category, we will allow you mention in not more than two (categories) in total, where your topic/ad will appear (the title of your ad – which links to your page on this blog – will then be found in the list of titles beneath TWO categories)

The title of your ad page will be listed on a page where all titles for that category are listed – the longer you take to send us your ad, the lower down the list it will appear – so be quick and get your ad emailed off to us as soon as you can (to appear higher on the list)

Once the ad/blog post appears, you are allowed two changes a year, in case prices have changed, or you would like to make small alterations. (You email us what you would like changed.)

Comments for your blog post/text ad will be disabled. We do not allow comments as too many spam comments are received and it takes a lot of time moderating them not to appear.

Many of the pages of our sites and blogs already appear on page one or two of Google.co.za search results, for a wide variety of search phrases.

Although School and Stuff is still fairly new, more and more people are starting to visit School and Stuff. This will surely grow as the traffic to all our other older sites has grown too, and continues to grow. There’s no charge to place an ad with us, so you have nothing to lose.

Since we don’t charge anything, what do we ask of you?

Family friendly content and images only

We reserve the right to refuse posting your ad for whatever reason, and also reserve the right to stop adding new ads should we so decide to (Please understand that while you’re getting an ad placed for nothing, we’re paying for the hosting of the site.)

Minimum 100 words, maximum 1000 words
IMPORTANT:
Your text for the ad (100 to 1000 words) is preferably NOT to be completely identical to text you have elsewhere on the Internet, whether in another ad or on your own website. Come up with a fresh text ad for your business. We cannot stop you giving us content that already appears elsewhere on the Internet, but advise that this is not a good idea if you want your content to be more easily found.
Please AT LEAST rearrange paragraphs AND change a few sentences and words etc.

Regards the one or two images (maximum two) allowed:
Please do not email us large images – they should not be more than 1 meg each, but the smaller the better – we will reduce the images to the longest length being about 400 or 500 pixels, so, if you can, please resize the images to this size first, as this will save us time, and get you your ad appearing sooner.

The photos should be your own or you should have permission to use the photos. Copyright problems will be your responsibility.

We also ask that you don’t mind adverts appearing on the same page as your content (usually mostly off to the right, neatly, in a separate column, or at the very bottom of each page.)

If this does not cost you anything, what do we get out of it?

We have banner or small text ads on School and Stuff, or links to our other sites and blogs. More eyes will see our links and ads.

If you would like a page advert on the blog, please send (email) the following:

Your title that will appear directly above your text content,

Minimum 100 words text, maximum 1000 words text of preferably UNIQUE Internet content. We do NOT do special formatting, the text will appear as plain text, just like the content of this information. Please send plain text information directly in an email or attached as a word document or text document and NOT as a pdf. Do not send any lists that are in two coloumns. Any lists will have each item appearing beneath each other in the advert; please send lists in that format, within your information text.

One or two images, if you want, of not more than 1 meg in size each, and preferably already resized to the longest side being 400 pixels.

What you would like to appear for your contact details (one website address, phone number, cell number, fax, email address, physical address – this is all we allow, and only one of each, but you can have all 6 if you want.) No instant messaging addresses.
