ADVERTISING FOR RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES OF EAST LONDON THAT COSTS NOTHING!

If your product or service is educational or related to school or learning, South Africans can also advertise for free on our School and Stuff site.

This free advertising blog is called East London in SA and the web address is http://www.1pic4twenty.co.za/eastlondon (Tell your East London friends!)

You get a whole page to yourself, and can write anything about your East London SA business, service, website, venue, shop, accommodation establishment, product (and where to get it), cause, club, or place of interest, and you may include up to two jpeg images/photos eg a logo and a photo of your premises or product.

Please read this whole page for instructions before emailing us with your ad content!

WE WILL:

Add a blog post (a page all to yourself), using the content you provide;

We will come up with a creative or SEO title (but still include your own title just above your text);

We will write our own one to four line introduction/summary next (usually Search Engine optimised for better findability), followed by your website link (just one website link allowed) or email address or phone number or cell number or fax number or physical address (or all six if you want, but just one of each); At least try mention the area or suburb you’re in, in case this plays an important part in a potential client wanting to contact you.

Followed by your one or two jpeg images/photos, or no images;

Followed by your title and text;

We will also place your page in a category, or start a new category if one does not yet exist for you; We may sometimes list the title of your ad/page (and link it to your ad/page) under a second category too, if we feel the ad belongs in two categories.

We will also list just the title (linked to your page) on a PAGE where all titles for that category are listed – the later you get an ad placed with us, the lower down the list your ad will appear – so hurry and get your ad emailed off to us as soon as you can (to appear higher on the list);

Should you wish to change any prices or details on your ad, once it has been placed, email us the changes (or new ad), but this will only be allowed twice a year;

Comments for your blog post/text ad will be disabled. We do not allow comments as too many spam comments are received and it takes a lot of time moderating them not to appear;

Many of the pages of our sites and blogs already appear on page one or two of Google.co.za search results, for a wide variety of search phrases.

SINCE WE DON’T CHARGE ANYTHING, WHAT DO WE ASK OF YOU?

Family friendly content and images only; nothing related to get rich quick schemes or gambling;

We reserve the right to refuse posting your ad for whatever reason, and also reserve the right to stop adding new ads should we so decide to (for example we might be running out of space and it may be too expensive to upgrade to a bigger hosting package.) (Please understand that while you’re getting an ad placed for nothing, we’re paying for the hosting of the site.);

Minimum 100 words, maximum 1000 words
IMPORTANT:
Your text for the ad (100 to 1000 words) is preferably NOT to be totally identical to text you have elsewhere on the Internet, whether in another ad or on your own website. Come up with a fresh text ad for your business. Your page has a much greater chance of being found by Search Engines if it’s the only page on the Internet like it. Please AT LEAST rearrange paragraphs AND change a few sentences and words etc.;

Regards the one or two images (maximum two) allowed:
Please do not email us large images; resize your images first – they should not be more than 1 meg each, but the smaller the better – we will reduce the images to the longest length being 400 pixels, so, if you can, please resize the images to this size first, which will save us time, and get you your ad listed sooner;

We also ask that you don’t mind adverts appearing on the same page as your content (usually mostly off to the right, neatly, in a separate column, or at the very bottom of each page.)

IF THIS DOES NOT COST YOU ANYTHING, WHAT DO WE GET OUT OF IT?

We have ads or links to our other sites and blogs, on this East London in SA blog, as well as Google Adsense adverts, and sometimes affiliate ads too. More eyes will see our links and ads.

Note: If you want this ad placement, but don’t feel up to writing UNIQUE content for the 100 to 1000 words, you can point us to your website, or other online places where you have ads placed, and we could rewrite the content for you, in our own words (100 to 200 words), for a price of R60. We cannot stop you giving us content that already appears elsewhere on the Internet, but advise that this is not a good idea if you want your content to be more easily found.
